Interviewed by Glamor UK magazine, hairdresser Sam McKnight reveals his tips for achieving this trendy hairstyle: “ It’s all in the preparation and finishing work, and also in how to give volume to the hair. It’s ultra-glossy: think of 80s star Dolly Parton, or the series Dallas. It is not a question of obtaining a natural effect, but rather of accentuating the voluminous side of the blow-dry.”

To obtain this result, the expert advises using heated curlers or sleep with Velcro rollers which create this voluminous effect at the roots and very flexible along the lengths. Certain styling products can help you to coat the hair, such as a texturizing mousse, to apply from roots to ends before blow-drying. Finally, the hairdresser recommends applying a anti-frizz oil as a finish, to boost the shine of the hair.
