Faced with inflation, not all French people are in the same boat. According to INSEE, Hauts-de-France will therefore be hardest hit by inflation, which reached 6.1% in July. But, for what reasons? Several factors seem to explain this trend. First of all, the region is one of the biggest consumers of city gas and the rural environment, although ideal when you need to breathe and go green, leads the inhabitants to use their cars.
