The Inox Clash Royale tournament, more followed than the CR World Cup?

Inox has been doing feats of strength for a few months now. After breaking the French audience record on Twitch last October, with a peak of over 453,000 viewers live from Zevent, the youtuber decided to organize his own Clash Royale tournament. Supported by some of the most influential streamers in France and surfing on the revival of hype only through the game of Supercell, Inox records a new success, with more than 200,000 viewers simultaneously on YouTube.

Stainless steel stronger than Clash Royale World Cup?

With these extraordinary stats, Inox is challenging Supercell’s audience records. And we are not talking about French figures here, but international ones! The French youtuber thus beats the peak audience of the English stream of the CRL World Finals of 2018 which amounts to 148,000 viewers. And at this time it must be understood that Clash Royale is still in its Golden Age, with an esports circuit in great shape.

The 2019 edition of the CR World Finals peaked at 133,000 viewers, still well below the stats displayed on the Inox live (which took place exclusively in French, as a reminder).

LeBouseuh crowned big winner

In terms of results, it is LeBouseuh who creates the surprise, and comes to win the friendly competition, cash prized in all and for all to the tune of 20,000 euros. He is closely followed by Michou. Inox, he scooped 4th place in his own tournament.

Haloed by such a success, the event could well give ideas to Supercell, which for its part has just unveiled the outlines of the Clash Royale League 2022 (the highest competitive instance in the game, editor’s note), with unfortunately a mixed reception from the community.

In Clash Royale, even the most insignificant of fighters can achieve the greatest feats. A simple skeleton can rout a fearsome MK… Especially when the physics engine of the mobile game messes up.
