The insurer Maif wishes to rejuvenate its clientele

The insurer Maif has indicated that it wants to become “the preferred insurer of 30-somethings” within four years, by reviewing its offers and the way of distributing them, the group announced on Monday by presenting its strategic plan 2023-2026.

To appeal to 30-somethings, the insurer plans to offer a customer experience completely adapted to their requirements, this age group having probably the highest standard in this area, according to Pascal Demurger, managing director of Maif.

Currently, the average age of Maif members is just under 45 years old, but it increases a little each year, underlines Mr. Demurger.

On the new offers, Maif hopes to attract new members with proposals on decarbonized mobility, and by recruiting through personal insurance, via borrower insurance, professional insurance or green savings, the press release specifies.

On the climate aspect, the group has indicated that it wants to reduce its carbon footprint and align its portfolio as closely as possible to a limited global warming trajectory of +1.5 degrees before 2030, against +1.9 degrees currently.

He also announced in early January an ecological dividend, which will translate into 10% of the net profit donated to the benefit of the environment.

The commitment of the brand, we are convinced, feeds the performance, added Mr. Demurger.

Over the next four years, Maif hopes to gain 200,000 net members, which is more than the target of 140,000 for the previous period, but less than the 210,000 actually won.
