The King of Fighters XV will be released in a little over two weeks but that does not prevent SNK to start the DLC machine with already six character announcements. Here is the roadmap of the DLCs of KOF 15 for 2022.
King of Fighters XV or King of Fighters Pass?
2022 will see the release not one pass but two. Each will contain two teams themselves consisting of three characters each. And that may hurt the wallet sincea pass will cost €29.99which makes us 60 euros over the year, not counting the purchase of the game of course.
Unsurprisingly, the characters and teams in question match the datamined data well. In March, we will be entitled to the first half of Team Pass 1, namely the Team Garou which contains :
- Rock Howard
- Gato
- B.Jenet
In May, it will be the turn of the Team South Town to arrive in town with:
- Geese Howard
- Billy Kane
- Ryuji Yamazaki
As for Team Pass 2, the first team is scheduled for this summer and the second for this fall. Note that the datamining only mentioned three teams, so we don’t know which will be the last one, but we assume that Team Samurai Shodown with Haohmaru, Nakoruru and Darli Dagger will be the one for summer 2022.
The King of Fighters XV will be released on February 17, 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
