Pokémon Legends Arceus releases next January 28, but we already have the information on upcoming Generation Eight online competitions. As you know, even though the Diamond and Pearl remakes have been released, the competitive aspect is still in the Galar region with the Sword and Shield versions.
The three birds of Galar in shiny version to get for free
Thus, each month, a competition takes place by rewarding the participating players with various rewards, some of which can be really unique like shiny Pokémon. This is also the subject of our news of the day since we learn from the Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel that players participating in the February, March, and April competitions will have the Galar forms of Electrhor, Moltres, and Articuno in chromatic. Note that this is currently the only known way to obtain them legally since they are part of the shiny locks in games.

International Challenge 2022
February
To participate in this competition, you will need to register from February 3 at 6 a.m. to February 18 at 12:59 a.m. The fights will start on the 18th at 1 a.m. and end on February 21 at 12:59 a.m. As for the reward, it will be Articuno of Galar in its chromatic form.
March
The registration period will take place from February 24 at 6 a.m. to March 11 at 12:59 a.m., then the fights will follow from 11 at 1 a.m. to March 14 at 12:59 a.m. As for the reward, it will be Electrhor de Galar which will be distributed in its shiny form.
April
Now let’s talk about the last competition that interests us today, for which registration will take place from March 31 at 6 a.m. to April 14 at 1:59 a.m. It will then take place from April 15 at 2 a.m. to April 18 at 1:59 a.m. The reward will be, this time, Sulfura de Galar shiny.
How to participate and get your reward?
To participate in online competitions, you must first have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Then, cast your Sword or Shield version.
- Press X then go to the VS menu.
- Choose the Battle Stage and then Internet Competition.
- Use the “Search for an official competition” option.
There you go, all you have to do is register for the competition that interests you. To get each of the legendary birds, you will need have made a minimum fight regardless of the outcome of the latter.
