The Lincoln Defense on Netflix: no, there are not only 5 episodes in this season 2… when will you see the rest?

Netflix will broadcast season 2 of The Lincoln Defense in two parts and we already know when the last episodes will be online.

Netflix now has the same strategy for all its big hits: cut and broadcast the seasons in two parts.

After The Witcher, it is the turn of La Défense Lincoln – the series based on the novels of Michael Connelly – to have the right to do so. So, if you were surprised to see that season 2 of the legal series included “only” 5 episodes, it is because the platform did not put them all online. It will therefore be necessary to wait until August 3 before finding Mickey (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), the “sexiest” lawyer on the east coast.

However, we can blame Netflix for its lack of communication regarding the broadcast of season 2, since it is not mentioned anywhere on the platform that The Lincoln Defense will be cut into two parts. Especially since episode 5 ends with a typical end-of-season cliffhanger…

Spoiler alert

In the last minutes of episode 5, Mickey was violently attacked by two men in his parking lot (at the very place where his predecessor had been murdered). If we don’t know who they are, it’s a safe bet that they are linked to the Armenian mafia. The lawyer and his team had indeed discovered that Mitchell Bondurant was in business with her and that it was going very badly.

The two hoodlums may also have been paid off by Henry Dahl (Matt Angel), the podcaster who bailed out Lisa (Once Upon a Time’s Lana Parrilla) for the rights to adapt her story. The timing between Mickey’s assault and the disappearance of his contract may raise questions.

Either way, we should find out in The Lincoln Defense Season 2 Part 2 who killed Bondurant and how they managed to frame Lisa Trammell…if she’s innocent.
