It was to be expected but that does not prevent hurting: the first part of the animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be seriously delayed…
Exit October 2022 and hello June 2023.
We’ll have to wait to go get a canvas…
Sony Pictures has decided to shake up its cinema release schedule. And that may not appeal to fans of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Indeed, the first part of the sequel to the 2018 film, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which will therefore be cut in two, will ultimately not arrive at the end of the year as initially announced. We will have to wait until the beginning of June 2023 to find Miles Morales and his friends, while the second part is set (for the moment) at the end of March 2024.
It’s finally the animated film Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile which will air next October rather than December. Finally, always around Marvel, after Morbiusin July 2023 it’s the next film in Sony’s Spider-Man universe Madame Web which should be released. For the record, the eponymous character will be played by Dakota Johnson. A summer full of spiders, then.
