The loot from the Dresden jewel robbery is back

The majority of the jewels stolen in 2019 are intact, a total of 31 irreplaceable pieces of jewelery from the time of Augustus the Strong. The handover took place in Berlin. The Saxon police refrained from Berlin help.

The thieves stole jewelry with an insured value of more than 113 million euros.

After the jewel robbery in the green vault, all the fears were there – that the irreplaceable pieces of jewelery from the time of Augustus the Strong (1670-1733) would have been taken abroad or that they would be broken up into pieces and the jewels sold individually. But now the spectacular case from Dresden has a pre-Christmas blessing turn: The jewelry is back, at least most of it, and probably largely intact.
