The Lord of the Rings: the VF of Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin together for the first time!

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King”, the Voix Ouf team welcomes the VF of the four Hobbits Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin, who tell us all about their adventures in Middle-earth!

20 years ago, Frodo and Sam risked crossing the darkness of Mordor to throw the One Ring into the flames of the Mountain of Doom. Pippin, alongside Gandalf, prepared to face the armies of Sauron in the citadel of Minas Tirith. Merry, riding among the horsemen of Rohan, was preparing to fly to the aid of besieged Gondor. The four Hobbits from the Shire were about to change the future of Middle-earth.

In short, 20 years ago the third and final opus of Peter Jackson’s trilogy adapted from the work of JRR Tolkien was released in cinemas: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

If you are one of the many spectators to have discovered this apotheosis in French version in 2003, it is the voices of Alexandre Gillet, Christophe Lemoine, Pierre Tessier and Vincent Ropion that you could hear when Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan.

To properly celebrate the anniversary of this cinema monument, the team from Voix Ouf, the AlloCiné show which highlights the world of French dubbing, decided to bring together on set (for the first time since the film’s release) , the four actors who lent their voices to the Hobbits of Lord of the Rings.
