For the occasion, she received the TF1 cameras at her home, in Montélimar (Drôme). “I never hid from it, I never wanted children. Even with my great lovers, I did not see myself as a mother“she says in front of the camera.
In question : his lifestyle and his personality. “I’m whimsical and I love my freedom more than anything and I understood very, very well that children, if you don’t take care of it, it’s not serious“explains the 61-year-old singer. “There is someone I love very much who I live with, who is really a stable person. I like his opinion, I always ask this person if it’s okay… And it’s me!” adds Marianne James half-jokingly. She insists on the importance of self love : “I love this person a lot, I’ve never hidden it, and you have to love yourself a lot to be on stage.“

Neither motherhood nor seduction are priorities for the unclassifiable artist. Last February, Marianne James confided at length on the issue in the columns of the magazine Galastarting from her younger years when she explored her sexuality. “It’s not happiness on the cheap!
