The machinist puts on a show before arriving on Lost Ark

Announced during the August roadmap, the next advanced class to come into play is revealed a little more today. Scheduled for September 28 on Lost Ark, the Machinist is an advanced class of Sagittarius. But its weaponry is slightly more sophisticated, fighting with machine guns, lasers and drones. He’s ready to wreak havoc on Archesia, and nothing can counter his overwhelming firepower.

The Machinist, a class with a strong identity

With his arsenal, he is able to perform precise strikes from a distance or spray a part of the battlefield. Divided into three categories, his skills are devastating. Ordinaries mainly focus on the high-tech arsenal of guns and grenades, recharging Hypersynchro’s battery in the process. Drone skills call upon the small machine that accompanies the Machinist, firing missiles, lasers, and smaller drones. Finally, with his skills combined, the Machinist and his drone act in unison to launch attacks.

But the class’s greatest asset is its identity skill. The latter, the Hypersynchro, charges for each successful attack. When all energy cores are maxed out, the Machinist can unleash powerful attacks from his suit. These can only be activated when Hypersynchro is active.

Classroom news

Of course, like all other classes of Lost Ark, the Machinist is entitled to his own advantages in game. Two new class engravings are dedicated to him, reinforcing his damage under Hypersynchro or in combination with his drone. With them, this new advanced class will be able to assert its identity by relying on its strengths.

The question still remains concerning the progression of this class. In order to allow all players to be able to try it out, new progression events could see the light of day. However, nothing seems to have been decided yet, and it is when the update is announced that details will be shared on this subject.
