For memory, the second edition of Masters Tournament had started on a controversy in 2020. In fact, during the first broadcast of the second edition, the Maestros had to sing The Devil’s Salsa of the Grand Orchester du Splendid. Before their performance begins, Nagui had specified to the candidates, that they must sing the choirs of the songto know : “Horror, misfortune”. However, this rule is an exception, since usually the choruses, noted in parentheses, do not necessarily have to be sung.

This modification thus resulted in the defeat of the two teams, who did not sing the backing vocals. Some Internet users have therefore challenged the production on social networks. “Usually the words in parentheses are not eliminatory“; “The problem is that you ask the candidate to just sing a chorus on the new verse.“, they wrote in particular. A response was then given to them, via the show’s Twitter account: “Nagui specified that it was necessary to sing the choirs. We specify when this is the case.
