The Magic6 Lite, Honor’s next mid-range smartphone, is officially revealed. But not entirely: the brand is playing the leasing card with a solidity test. The Magic6 Lite will succeed the Magic5 Lite. The full presentation of the phone is scheduled for early January 2024.
Almost a year ago, Honor returned to the mid-range with the Magic5 Lite, a well-balanced smartphone, quite beautiful to look at and at a very reasonable price. As proof, we see the appearance of the future smartphone on the brand’s official Italian website. On the technical sheet we learn that the phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1a giant 6.87-inch screen, three photo sensors on the back and a selfie sensor on the front, as well asAndroid 13 hidden in the heart of Honor’s in-house ROM, MagicOS. His presentation should take place in a few days, according to rumors.
The Magic6 Lite screen can drive a nail without damage
One of the strong points of this new smartphone will be its screen whose mineral glass protection will be particularly sturdy. She is called ” Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop “. To illustrate this, the brand organized a crash test during which testers were invited to drive nails into a board using the Magic6 Lite. And more precisely its screen. The result is that the factory-installed screen protection does not last long, but the screen resists: no scratches are visible.
In addition to creating buzz for the launch of its latest offspring, Honor also had another objective: to demonstrate that high-end smartphones are not the only ones to offer very high-quality screens. This is also the case on more affordable segments. Obviously, this will not be its only ergonomic and technical argument. But it adds perfectly to what we learned in December thanks to the brand’s Italian subsidiary.
