Our favorite Mandalorian Din Djarin grabs his companion Grogu for a very special adventure. The two make the leap into the cinema with “The Mandalorian & Grogu”. Director and producer Jon Favreau will begin work on the next major Star Wars film later this year.

Dave Filoni and Kathleen Kennedy will serve as producers on Favreau’s film. “Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have introduced two new and beloved characters to Star Wars, and this new story is a perfect fit for the big screen,” said Kennedy, who is president of Lucasfilm.

What is striking is that in the official statement about “The Mandalorian & Grogu” not a word is said about whether Pedro Pascal will appear in the film. The only clue is that Pascal shared the film announcement on his Instagram story.
