The Mandalorian: The first pictures for the second season are there

Baby Yoda is back! First insights into the second season of "The Mandalorian" promise action, girl power and lots of sand.

Hobby bounty hunters have to wait until the end of October until they are finally reunited with Baby Yoda – the second season of the "Star Wars" series "The Mandalorian" starts on Disney + on October 30th. As the first appetizer, seven pictures of the new episodes were published on the series' official Instagram account.

The first photo shows the title hero Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal, 45), Cara Dune (Gino Carano, 38) and Greef Karga (Carl Weathers, 72) with laser blasters drawn. Fan favorite "Das Kind" alias "Baby Yoda" should of course not be missing from another picture. Just like antagonist Moff Gideon, played by "Breaking Bad" actor Giancarlo Esposito (62).

Showrunner and director Jon Favreau (53) revealed in an interview with "Entertainment Weekly" what the fans should be prepared for: "Everything is getting bigger, the stakes are higher. But the personal story between the child and the Mandalorian also develops into one Ways that people (…) will enjoy. "
