There is a post-credits scene in The Marvels. And she is rather sympathetic for the rest of the MCU. This article contains a section without spoilers, then a section with spoilers.
A trio of Marvel superheroines is now in theaters: The Marvels powers Captain Marvel, Miss Marvel and Monica Rambeau — Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris. If the film is one of the shortest in a long time (1h45), it does not completely escape the rule of post-credits scenes in the MCU.
However, there is only one scene. It’s located just after the very first credits (the “titles”), so you don’t have to wait long to see it. On the other hand, no post-credits scene takes place after the final credits – which has become quite rare.

The answer is yes: the post-credits scene of The Marvels is not a simple bonus, nor a wink. It reveals the fate of a central character, introducing an important narrative for the future of the MCU (like the final scene of the film, in fact). We therefore advise you to stay.

What’s in The Marvels post-credits scene? (SPOILERS)

During this post-credits scene, Monica is transported to a parallel universe of the MCU. Waking up in the medical room, she finds her mother — Maria Rambeau (Lashana Lynch) — at her side. Except that the latter doesn’t know her: in this universe, she obviously doesn’t have a daughter.
The individual who then enters the room, with a bestial (but friendly) look and fangs, is none other than Beast / The Beast / Hank McCoy. This character is a scientist, which is why he seems knowledgeable about Monica’s medical condition. And especially : it’s an X-Men. The way he names Maria Rambeau is not insignificant either: Binary. In a parallel Marvel universe, this heroine is none other than a version of… Carol Danvers! Note also that Le Fauve refers to Charles – therefore to Professor Xavier, from the X-Men, again.
So there’s a lot of information during this post-credits scene. It seems to mark an important return of the X-Men to Marvel, but in a new form, since it is a parallel universe. And Monica, safe and sound, is therefore currently in their hands – perhaps she joins them.
The end of The Marvels is definitely dedicated to the future of the MCU. The final scene of the film also points to the future feature film Young Avengerswith Hailee Steinfield’s cameo as Kate Bishop / Hawkeye, while Kamala Khan seems determined to be like her own team of Avengers.
