The Masked Singer: A singer was in a cat costume

Another celebrity candidate was revealed in the big semi-final of "The Masked Singer". Who dressed up as a cat?

On Monday evening, seven celebrities in disguise had to worry about making it into the finale of the current season of "The Masked Singer" on ProSieben. At prime time, the alien, the hippopotamus, the anubis, the cat, the meerkats and the skeleton once again performed world hits in their own versions. Unfortunately, the cat didn't make it past the semi-finals.

This time star guest and singer Rea Garvey (47) together with presenter Sonja Zietlow (52) and comedian Bülent Ceylan (44) was allowed to tap which celebrities are under the masks. As usual, Matthias Opdenhövel (47) led through the evening again.

Who was the cat

While the alien, the anubis and the skeleton made it to the finals after the first round, which will take place on November 24th, the hippopotamus, the cat and the meerkats had to prove themselves again. On Monday evening, the celebrity candidates gave best hits such as "Sexbomb" by Tom Jones (80) or "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith. The highlight of the show was the skeleton with his version of Sias (44) "Chandelier". Zietlow even had goose bumps, and Ceylan rolled a few tears.

After a little over three hours of show, it was time for the cat to take off the mask. As unanimously assumed by the rate team, Vicky Leandros was in costume. A little more than 41 percent of the audience also guessed the singer. Previously, Judith Williams (49), Mary Roos (71) and Iris Berben (70) were suspected to be under the cat mask.

In the previous episodes, Veronica Ferres (55, bee), Jochen Schropp (41, lobster), Sylvie Meis (42, alpaca) and Wigald Boning (53, frog) had to take off their masks.
