Fans of "The Masked Singer" can look forward to: The popular ProSieben advice show is getting a fifth season – this year.

Shortly before the finale of "The Masked Singer" on March 23, there is already good news for all viewers and fans: The popular rate show is getting a fifth season – and that in autumn 2021. The broadcaster ProSieben announced.

"Our viewers have decided. They are so in love with 'The Masked Singer' that in autumn – after a six-month break – we will show Germany's biggest TV conundrum in a new season," explains broadcaster Daniel Rosemann (40). The show stands for "empathizing into fantastic worlds". That makes this "perhaps the best craziest show" unique, continues Rosemann. As before, the fifth season will be moderated by Matthias Opdenhövel (50).

The "The Masked Singer" final of the fourth season will take place live on ProSieben (and via Joyn) on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021 at 8:15 pm. It is decided whether the dinosaur, the flamingo, the leopard or the turtle wins the race.
