Nobody would have expected that. When the Quokka reveals its identity, all mouths are open with "The Masked Singer".

Katrin Müller-Hohenstein (55) and Franziska van Almsick (42) had to unmask themselves. In the third episode of the new "The Masked Singer" season, the remaining eight costumes fought for another week of anonymity. For the quokka and the flamingo, things got tight in the end.

Is Leona Lewis in the German "TMS" edition?

Ruth Moschner (44) and Rea Garvey (47) were ready for another round of guesswork. They were supported by moderator Steven Gätjen (48) on Tuesday evening. Were they able to find out about the celebrities together? The monstronaut made the start. After the performance of the AC / DC classic "T.N.T" they guessed comedian Teddy Teclebrhan (37), actor Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht (30) or one of the magician brothers Andreas (43) or Christian Ehrlich (39). The performance of the leopard followed. Who is Lady Gaga's "I'll Never Love Again"? At the advice desk there was agreement: It could only be Leona Lewis (35) or Sarah Connor (40) – a big star in any case.

Significantly more names were used after the appearance of the quokka. When it brought U2's hit "One" to the stage, Moschner, Garvey and Gätjen wanted to have heard the cabaret artists Hans Werner Olm (66) or Torsten Sträter (54) as well as DJ Sven Väth (56) and actor Ralf Moeller (62). They suspected a man under the flamingo costume again this week. After Kylie Minogue's "All The Lovers", the three guessed the singers Pietro Lombardi (28), Nino de Angelo (57) and Bill Kaulitz (31).

The crème de la crème of the German music scene

The turtle opened the second four-way battle of the evening. When she smacked KALEO's "Way Down We Go", Moschner, Garvey and Gätjen pondered names like Howard Carpendale (75), Jürgen Drews (75) or Thomas Anders (58). The subsequent performance of the dinosaur also called three different names on the scene. Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" could have tried Álvaro Soler (30), Sasha (49) or Adel Tawil (42).

The chick's soft beeping followed the strong dinosaur voice. But who had interpreted Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" so lovely? The rate jury rolled over tips: Was it Palina Rojinski (35) or influencer Caro Daur (25)? Actress Karoline Herfurth (36) or Luna Schweiger (24)? Even the bull made Moschner, Garvey and Gätjen at the end of the show with his performance of the football classic "You'll Never Walk Alone" once again perplexed and speechless. You bet on Tote-Hosen frontman Campino (58) or Alexander Marcus (48), BossHoss singer Sascha Vollmer (49) or Patrick "Coach" Esume (47).

The quokka is an actor

A short time later, there was certainty about the identity of a masked person. After the quokka and the flamingo were the last ones left on stage, the decision was made. The Quokka had to give up its camouflage – and actor Henning Baum (48) appeared. Nobody had expected "the last bull" that evening.
