The tenth season of “The Masked Singer” starts on April 6th – and viewers have to be prepared for a change.
The show “The Masked Singer” is getting a new guessing team: presenter Palina Rojinski (38) and actor Rick Kavanian (53) will take their place at the guessing desk next season. ProSieben announced this in a press release on Wednesday. However, Ruth Moschner (47), who has been part of the show since it began in 2019, will no longer be there.

The two new rate celebrities receive additional support: every week a different guest will sit next to them and try to find out which celebrities are hiding under the masks. The start of the tenth season has also been confirmed: it starts on Saturday, April 6th. There is no surprise in the moderation: Matthias Opdenhövel (53) leads, as usual, through the live broadcasts, which are always shown on Saturday evenings from 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and Joyn.
ProSieben station boss Hannes Hiller thanked Ruth Moschner in the press release for her commitment, her fun and “your wild speculations – they always gave us an incredible amount of joy.” He also said that we might see her again soon on the show: “And we all know: anything is possible on ‘The Masked Singer’. I’m looking forward to seeing you again – whether at the advice desk or even on the #MaskedSinger stage .”
That’s what the new guys say
Palina Rojinski was quoted as saying: “For me, ‘The Masked Singer’ is a big colorful entertainment fireworks display for the whole family, where you can have pure fun together and forget about your everyday life on guessing paths between the ice princess and the cockatoo.” It is “definitely the show with the greatest surprise effect on German television.” She loves to get excited and be led on the wrong path. “And now I can finally practice my inspector skills professionally as a member of the advice team and I’m really looking forward to working with Rick Kavanian – I have big plans for the Kavanian-Rojinski detective agency!”
The comedian, in turn, is “extremely excited about the different masks and their individual journeys – for each mask it will be a very personal and extraordinary experience.” He himself took part as a candidate in 2022 and hid under the mask Rosty at the time. He is sure “that I will get skin goose in the first show because I will remember my own journey with Rosty.”
