The mayor of Coubron (Seine-Saint-Denis) deplores not having been associated with the route of the para-cycling route

The mayor (UDI) of Coubron, a small town of just over 5,000 inhabitants in Seine-Saint-Denis, lamented on Tuesday February 20 at the microphone of Sud Radioof not having been associated with the route – and the feasibility – of the route of the para-cycling events on the road which crosses his municipality. “At no time did anyone call me. I have never been asked about this,” explained Ludovic Toro. The Paris 2024 Organizing Committee (Cojop) is “came to see me about a year ago saying “We’re going to do this at your place”, and since then they have traced the route themselves [sans] Never [venir] see me to say “How do we do it? Do we work together?” he added. The Cojop imposed a route on me that would cut the city in two and create a nameless mess. There will be no bus for the start of the school year. It’s unmanageable! I’m going to tell people that they won’t be able to go to work the way they want, at the time they want, that they won’t be able to take the bus. Neither do middle and high school students.”
