The summary index of the business climate in industry in France stands at 102.3 points in March 2024, indicated the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) at 8:45 a.m. Thus, industrial morale improved by 1.7 points over one month. The index being slightly above its long-term average (100), the opinion of business leaders in the industry on the economic situation is somewhat favorable.
In February, the index was 100.6 points (a figure which has just been revised by INSEE), up 2.1 points over one month.
