An unprecedented increase in the number of daily tests in France
France actually knows an unprecedented increase in the number of tests performed daily. According to figures from Public Health France, while there were only 700,000 on average per day in March 2021, a peak was reached in mid-January when more than 2.5 million of tests were recorded in one day. On January 20, the number of daily tests had slightly decreased : it was estimated at just over 1.6 million, according to Public Health France.
