We have another styling tip for you – and it’s about the underestimated eyebrows. Not happy with your eyebrows? With these basics things can soon look different.

“Wow, she has beautiful eyebrows!” or “Men always have what they don’t need: long eyelashes and puffy eyebrows.” – To whom do these statements sound familiar? Stop it! The golden rule for the perfect look is simple and works: Use what you have!

In shape: You should avoid these mistakes

intervention in the nature

Sometimes we hardly believe it ourselves, but nature is a gifted artist. She knows exactly in which direction we should go and we can rely on that. Work with what you have. Where there is no hair, none will grow. And that’s totally fine, because your eyebrows are as individual as you are. It’s helpful to leave them untouched for about six weeks to let your natural shape shine through.

Shape under time pressure

“I’ll be right there, I have to pluck quickly!” Don’t pluck at all, if at all, take your time. First mark the beginning, end and highest point of your brow and then lightly outline the shape. Pluck the area under your eyebrow first. This will keep you looking natural. Brushes up the hairs and, if necessary, trims what is too long. In general, it is better to pluck too little than too much.

Products not made for you

Now you have the perfect shape for you, now what? The right product is needed! Not every shade of brown is the same brown. In order for the look to suit you, you need to find the right color for your brows. Some brunettes might need a brown-grey, while others might need a brown-red. Better ask an expert if you have any doubts. Don’t be afraid to try out what you get along with better: pomade, pencil, gel – maybe all together?

does it suit you

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Your natural shape suits you best. It belongs solely to you! There will always be new trends. But as it is, they will eventually pass. If you have thin eyebrows, you won’t get puffy ones like Cara Delevingne overnight. We can’t ride every wave. And the sooner we come to terms with it, the more likely we are to avoid beauty faux pas.
