Launched in March 2021, the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is a vacuum broom that took advantage of a small innovation from the British brand: a green laser that illuminates all dust, even the most microscopic. With this addition, the chore of vacuuming should in theory be simplified, while taking advantage of the traditional power that made these cordless vacuum brushes famous.
Usually rather expensive (like all models of the brand …), the V15 Detect Absolute becomes a little less expensive thanks to a reduction of 100 euros applied during the sales.
Indeed, initially displayed at 699 euros, the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is now available at 599 euros on Ubaldi.

- What makes the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute different?
Unlike the brand’s other vacuum brushes, the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is equipped with a green laser that detects particles, even invisible to the naked eye depending on the brand, to illuminate them. A technology supposed to be more efficient than the LEDs already found on other models of the brand, and which should therefore avoid passing through the same spaces several times.
The V15 Detect Absolute also incorporates a so-called “piezoelectric” sensor, capable of modulating the suction power in real time, depending on the surface and the amount of dust to be sucked up. A feature that saves battery.
- What are its other characteristics?
This vacuum cleaner also has the advantage of carrying an LCD screen which displays the quantity of dust already sucked up, but also their size, in order to keep an eye on the volume of dirt that the Dyson will have swallowed. Regarding its suction power, the engine of this V15 performs up to 125,000 revolutions per minute, which is more than enough to capture all dust, while ensuring good filtration capacity for dirt, but also allergens. In terms of autonomy, the brand provides a duration of use of 60 minutes, as well as a charging time of 4 hours.
The Dyson V15 comes with a variety of brushes for all situations. In addition to the brush equipped with its green laser, a special brush, called “High Torque”, incorporates a self-detangling comb to prevent animal hair or hair getting stuck in the mechanism. A stiff brush, a motorized mini-brush, a two-in-one accessory, an adapter for low furniture, a mini soft brush and a long nozzle complete the package.
