The new season of the popular ZDF series “Die Bergretter” has already started. What’s special: In the second episode “Brother Love” – which will be broadcast next Thursday, November 23rd from 8:15 p.m. and is already available in the media library – model mom Heidi Klum (50) will be seen in a guest role . In an interview with “Stern” Klum now spoke alongside leading actor Sebastian Ströbel (46) about her involvement there. “My husband (Tom Kaulitz, 34, editor’s note) and I are huge fans,” says Klum about their “Bergretter” connection.

She initially received an invitation from Ströbel to visit the filming in Styria. But she herself asked whether she could also play: “I think they (ZDF, editor’s note) thought it was a joke. And when they understood that I was serious, they were afraid , I think I would demand a utopian fee. I didn’t want any money at all and said, you can donate the fee to the real mountain rescuers, I just want to play along out of the love of my heart.”

Heidi Klum insisted on wearing her wedding ring on her finger during filming

She only had one real condition: “I don’t take off my wedding ring when I’m turning. I never take it off, and it probably won’t come off my finger at all.” She also didn’t want to hang from a rope at a great height: “I would have peed my pants. You have to stage it somehow, I said, and that’s what we did.”

But she always felt very safe while filming. On top of that, the real mountain rescue service was always there, who also instructed them on how to behave. She always stuck to that: “Despite being safe, you have to be careful and concentrate. Fooling around on the mountain is not possible.”
