the new games for June 2024, with a huge box office

Microsoft has just lifted the veil on the new games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass in the coming weeks. Will subscribers still be spoiled?

Summer Game Fest 2024 was once again the scene of great announcements, especially for Xbox players. The Redmond firm has clearly struck a major blow with a conference the likes of which we haven’t seen for a while from its side. Xbox Game Pass subscribers were therefore able to discover a preview of future exclusives which will join the service catalog as soon as they are released, such as Call of Duty Black Ops 6, Gears of War 6 or even the new Fable, to name a few. It will clearly be necessary to be patient for some of them, but until then they will have something to do to pass the time. Proof of this is with the second wave of Xbox Game Pass additions from June 2024 which has just been announced.

New Xbox Game Pass games for June 2024

While waiting for the arrival of the next big cartridges, Xbox Game Pass continues its routine. From today, subscribers can dive into the world of Still Wake the Deep, the latest production from the creators of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Dear Esther. A horrific first-person game set in 1975 as disaster strikes a Scottish oil rig. You will have to try to save your crew from horrors from another world, defying your reality and all logic. This brand new release received a very good reception from the press and Xbox Game Pass subscribers will now be able to form their own opinion.

Rumor had it that EA FC 24 changed teams after wearing the PS Plus jersey… and it didn’t fail. The football simulation will be one of the stars of this second wave of Xbox Game Pass in June 2024 and it will be accompanied by a handful of other games:

  • Still Wakes the Deep (Cloud, PC, & Xbox Series X|S) – available
  • My Time at Sandrock (Cloud, Console, PC) – June 19
  • Keplerth (PC) – June 20
  • EA Sports FC 24 (Cloud, Console, PC) EA Play – June 25
  • SteamWorld Dig (Cloud & Console) – June 26
  • SteamWorld Dig 2 (Console & PC) – June 26
  • Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders (Cloud, PC, & Xbox Series X|S) – June 27

Outgoing XGP games

As always, these new arrivals will be accompanied by releases. On May 31, five new games will leave the catalog, including High on Life, the completely crazy and irreverent baby from the co-creator of Rick & Morty. Subscribers who would like to keep one or more of the unfortunate leavers will benefit from a 20% discount on each of them. Here are the games leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of the month:

  • Bramble: The Mountain King (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • High on Life (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Rune Factory 4 Special (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Spacelines from the Far Out (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • The Bookwalker (Cloud, Console and PC)
