The M2 is coming to new Macs and the iPad Pro
The manufacturer would indeed have many new products to announce for the end of the year.
We think in the first place of new MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inches. If the design of these devices should not evolve compared to the current versions, which have still not celebrated their first anniversary, Apple should offer an internal update with the presence of an Apple M2 processor announced last June and equipping already the MacBook Air (2022).
Apple could also offer new iPad Pros with the presence of the M2 again to bring even more power to aficionados of the 12-inch touch pad.
Finally, the data sheet of the Mac mini could also undergo a makeover with the adoption of the M2 chip.
A simple website update instead of a full-fledged keynote
We might have thought that the Californian manufacturer was going to present these latest devices during a video event broadcast live on the web, but the well-informed journalist from BloombergMark Gurman, has just showered our hopes.
According to his indiscretions, Apple does not want to organize a new rout and would ultimately be satisfied with simple press releases and an update of its website and its online store.
If the announcement effect is considerably reduced, Apple could estimate that a simple improvement in the performance of devices intended for a more restricted professional audience does not necessarily justify putting the dishes in the big ones with an event that requires organization weeks.
Apple could, however, offer some hand-picked editorials to allow users to see the new devices from all angles a few hours after their announcement.
