McDonald’s is expanding its offering with two new low-price menus, McSmart and McSmart+, which could almost have gone unnoticed if some fans of the fast food chain had not quickly understood that it was truly a very good deal …
After being singled out by several regulars for its new range of Big Tasty sandwiches deemed expensive, McDonald’s regains his health. Indeed, the fast food chain has just revealed not one but two new menus. While new sandwiches are regularly added to the menu, when other cult products such as the 280 return temporarily to the delight of consumers, it is an economic formula which has been the focus of all attention for several days. McDonald’s has communicated very little about its menu McSmart and the variant McSmart+. But that was without counting on theenthusiasm of Internet users who promote it themselves, particularly on TikTok.
On the app with 15 million subscribers (France), we can actually notice the publication of numerous videos accompanied by enthusiastic comments. “The new 5 euro McDonald’s menu is incredible”, “It’s the deal of the century”…, we can read among other things. So, what is it all about?

The McSmart Menu at 5 euros said “clever” on the fast-food giant’s website consists of “two sandwiches of your choice between a little ranch wrap or a cheeseburger”to which are added a small fries and a small drink “a choice”. A preference for one or the other? McDonald’s specifies that it is possible to opt “or 2 cheeseburgers for beef lovers”either for “2 little ranch wraps for chicken lovers”. For a supplement of 1 eurothe menu McSmart+ is offered to you. It takes the same form, except that the size of the drink and fries that accompany the sandwiches is larger.
Get out the calculator! As we can see, the average price of a Best-Of menu (fries and drink equivalent to the McSmart+ menu) from the Royal range is around 9.30 euros (Deluxe, Bacon, Cheese). Allow almost 11 euros for the Best-Of CBO menu and 8.30 euros for the Best-Of Double Cheese menu which ultimately ends up being close to a McSmart+ menu, with two cheeseburgers ordered. Some Internet users highlight the fact that two McSmart menus, sold for 10 eurosare more copious than a menu from the Best-Of Royal range sold at approximately the same price.
