Daredevil fans are in for a treat, as leaked images from the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again have surfaced online, revealing the new costume of Charlie Cox, aka Matt Murdock.
A few months ago, Disney+ finally announced Daredevil Born Again, a new series that will continue the story of Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, who previously starred in the Netflix series Daredevil and other Marvel projects. The series is based on the classic comic book story by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli, which sees Daredevil’s life fall apart after his secret identity is revealed by Kingpin.
Before its release on the streaming platform, we are already entitled to some images from the series, photos and a video having been published on social networks. The footage shows a fight scene where Bullseye, Daredevil’s nemesis, shoots his friends Foggy Nelson and Karen Page, and Daredevil steps in to stop him. The images also give us a glimpse of the Daredevil’s new costume, which is more faithful to the comic book version.

The new Daredevil series is revealed in images
The leaked footage, shared by @DDevilUpdates on X, was filmed in New York, where the series is set. It shows Bullseye, played by Wilson Bethel, shooting a sniper rifle at Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson, and Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll, who are Daredevil’s best friends and allies. Daredevil arrives on the scene and attacks Bullseye, but we don’t know if he succeeds in saving his friends or not.
The images also reveal Daredevil’s new costume, which is different from the one he wore in the Netflix series. The new suit is brighter and redder, and has a more streamlined design. The costume also features a mask that does not cover Daredevil’s eyes, unlike the Netflix costume, which hid the entire upper part of his face. However, this mask could also simply be used by the actor to perform his scene, before being modified by computer afterwards.
However, the costume still does not feature the iconic “DD” logo on the chest, which is an essential part of Daredevil’s costume in the comics. Maybe Marvel Studios will add it later, or maybe Daredevil will get it in an upcoming appearance, like in Spider-Man 4.
Daredevil: Born Again is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2025/2026. As a reminder, this had recently fallen behind schedule, as several episodes had to be shot a second time, the production team not being satisfied with the initial result.
