If the end of 2022 and the year 2023 will be marked by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 but also by the new Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone 2we already know that other projects from the license are under development, including the Treyarch studio at the head of a new Call of Duty game.
It is precisely this title that interests us since a dataminer has apparently got his hands on the first conceptual images of the game.
A dataminer leaks the first images of Call of Duty 2024
In the world of Call of Duty, it is absolutely not uncommon for leaks to occur several months before the official announcement of the games to be released, and this is what is happening for the next title from Treyarch. scheduled for 2024. Indeed at the head of a new Call of Duty game, the dataminer by the name of RealiityUK found some rather interesting information via the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile closed alpha that is currently taking place.
The leaker has indeed found several concept images of Call of Duty 2024, allowing the community to get a first idea of Treyarch’s upcoming project. If the latter is to be believed, these images which are in reality illustrations already show some maps of the game, with one of them which seems to respond to the name of Stealth, a codename. From what we can see, this one seems to find its plot outside of a US military base.
In addition, the second image published shows another card, this one responding to the code name Plunder. On this map, we can see the inside of a huge building that seems to be a religious building, a church in Central America, but nothing is less certain!
What to expect from Call of Duty 2024?
Even if at the time of writing Activision has not really confirmed that the Treyarch studio is working on the title to be released in 2024, according to a Bloomberg report, the year 2023 should therefore be quite hollow.
But what to expect from this next Call of? First of all, we have to hope that it is a Black Ops, specialty of Treyarch, on the other hand, concerning a Zombies mode, nothing is less certain. Indeed, rumors from the corridors have suggested that another project, still with this last Treyarch at the head, should see the light of day: it would then be a game apart, a standalone, totally focused on the Zombie mode. For the moment, we still haven’t had any official information, but it won’t be long.
All in all, we should therefore have the right to two Call of Duty games from Treyarch, but we will have to take our troubles patiently before knowing more.
While we are going to have the right to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 but also to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, it seems that the Infinity Ward studio already has new projects, and completely new ones if we believes the publication of a job offer.
