After the success of the famous Iron Thronethe directors of the series are preparing to return with a brand new project on netflix. And as much to say that it looks very promising!
It will be an adaptation of a best-selling novel from China.
A change of register
Last weekend, Netflix was hosting its event called Tudum. It was on this occasion that the SVoD giant communicated information on its future projects. Among the most awaited, we find the series entitled The Three-Body Problem Where The three-body problem in French. It is based on a novel by Chinese author Liu Cixin. Its first publication in Asia took place in 2008 and it took eight more years to see it land in France.
Divided into two parts (A silent spring and The twilight of men), this science fiction book will therefore be adapted into a series by Netflix. At the controls of the show, we find David Benioff and DB Weiss, the showrunners of Game Of Thrones. We haven’t seen much about this production so far, except for a short behind-the-scenes teaser.
A five-star cast
While waiting for a first trailer in good and due form, we will have to content ourselves with an overview of the cast. And there are beautiful people! We think in particular of Benedict Wong who embodies the character of Wong in the Marvel films (Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: No Way Home). John Bradley-West and Liam Cunningham, known for their roles as Samwell Tarly and Davos Mervault in Game Of Thrones, are also in the game. Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver, godzilla vs kong) also joined the cast.
Currently, Netflix is planning to start streaming its series based on The three-body problem in 2023. More information should be shared very soon.
