Release date: when is The Night Agent season 2 coming out?
Netflix has yet to announce the air date for The Night Agent season 2. The first being released in March 2023, it will be necessary to wait at least 2024 before finding Peter Sutherland on our screens. But if the writers’ and actors’ strike continues in Hollywood, season 2 could even be pushed back to 2025…

What we know about The Night Agent season 2
At the end of the first season of The Night Agent, Peter officially joined the program and flew on his first mission. In an interview given to various American media, producer Shawn Ryan said that season 2 will take place in a completely new place. Farewell, then, to Washington – and most likely the United States.
The writers are currently working on a new plot decorrelated from the first. Season 2 will introduce a new story as well as new secondary characters. At this time, we do not know what it will be about. If the first season was directly adapted from the eponymous novel by Matthew Quirk, we will now have the right to something new.
Cast: Which characters from The Night Agent will appear in Season 2?
Peter will logically be back, still played by actor Gabriel Basso. We know that Diane Farr will not appear in season 2, as we explained to you in this article. The question arises especially for the character of Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan), Peter’s girlfriend. If the last episode ended with a goodbye, the young woman could well come back and lend a hand, in her own way, to our favorite FBI agent.
Among the known faces, we could also see Gordon Wick (Ben Cotton), the former NAVY Seal who has become a businessman. Shawn Ryan has let it be known that this character could well cross paths with our hero in the future…
Is a season 3 of The Night Agent planned?
Netflix had renewed The Night Agent just days after the first episodes went online, proof of the success of the series around the world. If the numbers are as good in season 2, a season 3 should logically see the light of day. But as of now, nothing has been announced.
