The number of job seekers registered in category A (without activity) fell by 2.1% in November compared to October, with 65,800 fewer unemployed people to 3.026 million, according to figures from the Ministry of Labor published on Tuesday.
Including reduced activity (categories B and C), the number of job seekers in France (excluding Mayotte) only decreased by 0.4% (-19,400) and stood at 5.394 million, according to the statistics service. of the Ministry of Labor (Dares).
Over one year, the fall in category A is 9.8%. For categories A, B and C, it is 5.3%.
Dares does not comment on the monthly data, which is too volatile, favoring quarterly changes.
The latest quarterly results published at the end of October showed stability in the third quarter compared to the second, at 3.164 million subscribers (-1,700).
The stability was identical including reduced activity (categories B and C of Pôle Emploi) at 5.436 million (-1,000 people).
