The Office arrives in LEGO and it’s great … except for one detail


LEGO has not finished surprising us. Customary partnerships more eccentric than each other, the Danish brand is now attacking a monument of pop culture.

LEGO is continuing its collaborations in spades. In addition to many sets focused on video games, the brand with bricks also allows itself to dip into pop culture. And the inevitable happened: The Office is going to have its own set.

A LEGO set for The Office

One of the most cult sitcoms of recent years finally arrives in LEGO. The Danish company has announced that it is tackling a new pop culture monument: The Office. Broadcast between 2005 and 2013 in the United States, the series has established itself as a reference of the genre thanks to its crazy characters and its now cult lines. Fans will be able to find Michael Scott, Pam, Jim, Dwight and all these beautiful people in a dedicated LEGO set.

A beautiful baby made up of 1164 parts and about fifteen figurines bearing the effigy of the characters of the series to recompose all the open-space of Dunder Mifflin. Fans are sure to notice the attention to detail and the little nods here and there. We find Michael’s famous World’s Best Boss mug, the must-have golden Dundie, Pam’s painting, Dwight’s jelly stapler from the first episode, Kevin’s chili pot and even Angela’s cat. . If you look closely, you’ll even see a reference to Prison Mike.

References abound and nothing is left to chance. Some fans have nevertheless expressed their disappointment with two absentees: Erin and Andy, who have become key characters over the seasons. The Office LEGO set will be available from 1er October 2022 on the brand’s official website. This large piece of more than 7 cm high, 30 cm wide and 25 cm deep will be sold for 119.99€ in France. French pre-orders should open later.
