Volbeat push ABBA from number one
Volbeat celebrate their next chart success. With their new record “Servant Of The Mind” the Danes secure the top once again.
It only took the Danish rockers from Volbeat three months to complete their new album “Servant Of The Mind”. Now the group around front man and singer Michael Poulson (46) is once again at the top of the official German album charts. The GfK announced on Friday (December 10th). “Servant Of The Mind” is their fourth overall number one album.
Volbeat push ABBA and their new record “Voyage” from the top. The Swedish pop group slips to second, singer Adele (33) and her album “30” to third. Fourth place went to Helene Fischer (37) and her album “Rausch”. With “Christmas Time” Roland Kaiser (69) is listed in fifth place.
Christmas in the singles charts
It’s going to be Christmassy in the singles charts. Mariah Carey is once again the front runner with “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, followed by Wham! with “Last Christmas”. Gayle and her single “abcdefu” secure themselves in the middle of the top five. Kumme feat. Fred Rabe are listed at number four in the singles charts with “The Last Song (Everything will be fine)”. Ed Sheeran (30) and Elton John (74) move up to fifth with their new hit “Merry Christmas”.
