After pre-registrations numbering several tens of thousands of players, it is now time to turn to the first opening of Wakfu’s Ogrest single-account servers, in early access.
The opening time of Wakfu Monocompte’s Ogrest servers
More than 66,000 single-account players have pre-registered for the opening of Ogrest on Wakfu. To be exact, these are now Ogrest servers, since the number gave the development team pause. With several load tests (ending in server crashes), you will now be able to find Ogrest 1, Ogrest 2 (by default if you have not changed your registration) and Ogrest INT for internationals.
As expected, these servers will open the October 31 in early access. Furthermore, you can always buy this via the packs available in store (Ankama Store > Wakfu). The opening time is announced for
2 p.m. (Paris time, source).
As a reminder, it is no longer possible to pre-register. It is therefore impossible to collect the last gifts that are essential for a good rush, such as a cosmetic costume for style or a bag to expand your in-game inventory. You will nevertheless be able to join the servers when they open, without having a predisposed character. Pre-registrations made it possible to assess the number of players possible, while distributing the load across several servers. Excluding early access, Ogrest will be accessible on November 2, 4 p.m. (according to the very first FAQ on the subject). Note that a merger between the single accounts is possible according to the Wakfu team and will probably take place within a few months, until the pressure goes down. Finally, the MMO remains F2P. Different boosts will be accessible via the store to accelerate your progress (experience for example).
