“The Passport” concludes with the third season. Now the start date is also known: On May 4th, the commissioners will investigate again.

“The Pass” will soon come to an end. As Sky has now announced in a press release, the third and final season of the award-winning thriller series will be broadcast on Sky Q and WOW from May 4th to June 15th. Julia Jentsch (45) as Commissioner Ellie Stocker and Nicholas Ofczarek (51) as Inspector Gedeon Winter are again in the leading roles.

At the end of the second season, Stocker and Winter parted ways as enemies, yet the two are reunited. A new series of murders keeps the two in suspense and forces them to deal with their own history. Will Winter track down the tormentor of his childhood and will Stocker convict her colleague of corruption? The third season of “Der Pass” is intended to clarify these and other questions in a total of eight episodes.

“The Passport” has received many awards

After “Babylon Berlin” and “Das Boot” “Der Pass” is the third original production of Sky Germany. The series is produced by W&B Television. Showrunner of the third season is Christopher Schier (52), who has been responsible for several “crime scenes” in the past. He is supported by director and cameraman Thomas W. Kiennast (46).

“Der Pass” was first broadcast in early 2019 on Sky 1 and ZDF. The second season followed in early 2022. The German-Austrian production has received several prestigious awards such as the Grimme Prize and the Golden Camera.
