Finnish inventor Urpo “Upi” Merranmaa has developed a tiny caravan for an electric bicycle, which can be recharged by solar panels installed on the roof. The project has in any case taken the path of commercialization.
An idea like no other, which is reaping its share of media spotlight. Inventor Urpo “Upi” Merranmaa worked on a concept for a mini e-bike trailer, which has since grown into a successful product and is marketed at a price of 5990 euros. The idea being to be able to travel with it, without worrying about sleeping under the stars or in a hotel.
The strict and minimum necessary
This caravan has several particularities: its height already, 131 cm for the living area. This dimension therefore does not allow you to stand up inside. In reality, this was clearly not the objective of the interested party, who focused on our primary needs: a bed to sleep in, a space to eat.
When unfolded, the bed takes up the entire interior space of the caravan and is only designed for one person – unless you squeeze in like sardines. In short, the idea is to provide a framework that is certainly primary, but all the same with a minimum of comfort to travel through regions or countries in complete peace of mind.
A beautiful baby to tow
