Originally titled “personal hardship prevention account”, or C3P, it became, in 2017, the professional prevention account, or C2P, within the framework of the Macron orders. Four of the ten criteria of arduousness, which make it possible to accumulate points, were then removed by the ordinances: exposure to dangerous chemical agents, dust and fumes, the carrying of heavy loads, painful postures and mechanical vibrations. emitted by machines.
The six remaining criteria are: activities carried out in extreme environments (noisy, under very high pressure or high temperature), tasks involving repetitive movements as well as work in alternating shifts (in three-shift shifts, for example) and night work.
Operation
An employee exposed to one of these criteria accumulates 4 points per year of exposure (8 for employees born before July 1956) and 8 points (16 for employees born before July 1956) in the event of exposure to several risk factors with a cap of 100 points for the entire career, provided you exceed certain thresholds. The pension reform introduces some relaxations at this level, which have yet to be confirmed by decree.
During the presentation of the pension reform bill at the end of the Council of Ministers on January 23, the Minister of Labor, Olivier Dussopt, announced a “modernization” of the device for a “Improvement of the consideration of arduousness”.
