Badenfahrt, forest fires in the Canary Islands and a resigning Chancellor – these are the best photos of the week.

Legend:

Imposing buildings, creative stands, lots of people: the ten-day Badenfahrt began on Friday evening in the Aargau Limmat city of Baden. With more than a million visitors, the Badenfahrt is one of the largest city festivals in Switzerland. The first Badenfahrt took place 100 years ago.
