The active members of the c’t photography gallery have uploaded and activated more than 20,000 images in the past 365 days. You have left over 85,000 comments and given a good 106,000 ratings. And now the most popular pictures of 2021 have been determined.

One of the most successful photographers in the gallery this time was Lena-13, who was able to place three pictures in the top 20. She did it with two architectural photographs from Berlin and a flower triptych. She uploaded two of the recordings as part of the “Common Interpretation” campaign, which the gallery members initiated and organized independently on various topics via our forum.
Animal photos were also particularly popular. The photographer “Der Färber”, for example, has found a beautiful symbol for the little challenges of the year. He caught a heavily fluffed blue tit and aptly named the snapshot “Corona-Matte”. In the categories “Idea” and “Execution” he received 18 5-star ratings from his fellow gallery owners. And that was enough for 8th place
The undisputed first place is Katja Saxinger. Her affectionate fox portrait “Affection” also got a smooth 5-star rating in both categories with 26 votes each. She also made it into the top 20 with another picture, as you can see in our photo series.
