While the broadcast of the documentary on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was to arrive shortly on the Netflix platform, the streaming giant has decided to postpone this long-awaited release to 2023. If fans have been waiting for this documentary with a firm footing, Netflix seems to have backpedaled, what about the situation? This is the question we ask ourselves.

Thunderbolt at Netflix, when it was planned to release the fifth season of the hit series The Crown in November followed by the long-awaited documentary on the couple Harry and Meghan in December, nothing seems to go as planned. The N red platform still signed a contract worth over $100 million with the couple through their company Archewell Productions.

And yet! Some sources would indicate that the platform wants to delay the release of the documentary because of all the controversies surrounding the series, the royal family and everything that could be said around a fictitious scene staged in the program. While still Prince of Wales, Prince Charles allegedly organized a plot with then-Prime Minister John Major to get the Queen to abdicate for his benefit. Simple nonsense according to the real protagonist: “It’s a barrel of absurdities, in a damaging and malicious fiction”.

While the subject continues to make people talk in England, Netflix prefers to adopt a position of discretion by taking the decision to postpone the broadcast of the documentary event to 2023. Another controversy pushes the platform even more to keep a low profile, indeed the production wishes to verify the comments made by the couple, because completely contradictory with one of the last books devoted to Prince Harry in August 2022.

The accumulation of all these events means that doubts remain and we do not yet know if the date of December 2022 will be maintained. The mystery remains!
