The PlayStation 5 Slim is at its lowest price since release, with €80 off

[Deal du jour] The PlayStation 5 Slim benefits from an unprecedented promotion of €80. The Standard version of the console, that is to say with disc player, is in fact priced at €470. First come, first served.

What is the promotion on the standard model PS5 Slim?

The PlayStation 5 Slim Standard with disc player normally retails for €549.99. It is currently offered on the PC Componentes website at a price of €470.08.

What is the standard PS5 Slim?

The PlayStation 5 Slim is a more compact and less imposing version of the classic PS5. It is available in two models: a digital edition for dematerialized games and a standard edition, currently on sale, equipped with a disc reader. Apart from its slightly reduced dimensions, the other notable change is its storage space, which increases to 1 TB compared to 825 GB for the Fat version.

The DualSense controller is the big strong point of the Sony console. The new adaptive triggers and haptic vibrations offer new gaming sensations. These features, as well as its always perfect ergonomics, make it one of the best controllers today.

Is the PS5 Slim worth it at this price?

This is the biggest price drop for the Slim version of the Sony console since its release in November 2023. So it’s an excellent deal if you wanted to get it. €80 is the price of a recent triple A game, or several independent games. If you like to play with others, the savings made with this promotion can also allow you to buy a second controller. €80 in savings is also the price of several months of PlayStation Plus subscription.
