The Poco X5 Pro smartphone test has joined our comparison

This Poco X5 Pro sports a similar look to the previous model. But behind the scenes, the manufacturer has chosen power. In addition to its beautiful Amoled screen, the integration of the very good Snapdragon 778G ensures great fluidity in multitasking and video games. This smartphone is therefore aimed at those who seek above all performance. But this choice weighs on the autonomy, which turns out to be less good than that of the X4 Pro, and we note that this new generation does not bring any significant gain in photography. Despite its qualities, we can therefore wonder if the competition, or last year’s model, do not respond better to certain uses.

Alternatively

Google’s Pixel 6a does not demerit compared to Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. This smartphone, which is the “affordable” version, convinces with undeniable advantages: good quality screen, more than satisfactory performance and very controlled photo component. It also has the merit of being IP67 certified, borrowing this characteristic from high-end terminals. What’s missing is a bit faster charging, higher screen brightness and a more generous refresh rate. But at its launch price, few – or even no smartphones – manage to do as well to date, with the essential guarantee of ensuring long-term software monitoring.
