“THE POLDI OF THE WEEK” – Jack of all trades is a passionate cider maker

Adolf Adelsberger from Vorderau in the municipality of Randegg in the district of Scheibbs has been known in the region for years. The 57-year-old is a passionate cider farmer and has already won a number of prizes with his products. But he is also a pioneer in fruit growing. Because since 1992 he has been reviving old fruit tree varieties. Adelsberger is also an honorary cashier at the Orchard Keeping Association and a board member at the Mostviertel Fruit Tree Association. With his so-called “hoist” for the right fruit tree pruning, he is always there anyway. But that’s not all! Adolf Adelsberger also heads the local organic farming group in Randegg. Dancing hobby beekeeper The passionate cider farmer also likes to dance in his free time. Together with his wife Leopoldine, he is a dance teacher for the senior folk dance group in Randegg. He is also very connected to brass band music: He recently donated a large bass tuba to the local traditional band. Adolf Adelsberger is also a hobby beekeeper and has been chairman of the association since 1993.
