In Luxembourg, the police have arrested a suspect after the stabbing of a young man. But while searching the apartment of the alleged attacker, the police discovered the dismembered body of a young woman.
A macabre discovery. In Luxembourg, police came across the dismembered body of a 32-year-old Portuguese woman while they were inspecting an apartment in the Bonnevoie district this Thursday, December 22. A suspect has been arrestedand according to the Portuguese media, it would be the owner of the apartment in which the victim lived with his companion.
The police made this discovery when they intervened after the stabbing of a young man of 27 years. The latter was taken care of by the emergency services, and a 45-year-old man was arrested.
All the protagonists would have lived in the same apartment
When police entered the apartment of the alleged attacker, they came across the partially dismembered and mutilated body of a woman. As the Portuguese media Cofina reports, the victim was quickly identified as being the companion of the young man who had just been attacked with a knife.
The young woman found, Diana C., was of Portuguese origin but had lived for several years in Luxembourg, indicates RTL. As stated by the prosecution, she had “no family ties to the suspect“, but would have lived several months in the same apartment with him and his companion. The arrested man is also from Portugal.
For the time being, we do not yet know the reasons for his passage to the act. In the meantime, he was charged with “assassination”, “murder” and “attempted murder” and was jailed after being brought before a judge. For his part, the young woman’s boyfriend was hospitalized but his life is not in danger.
