Rumor has it that Samsung’s next big conference will take place on July 26. Lee Young-hee, president of global marketing for the company, and her team have apparently spilled the beans, at least for a bit.
See you in Seoul at the end of July
Last week, the South Korean firm announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked will be held in Seoul at the COEX of Samseong-dong, a shopping center doubled as an exhibition center. This gigantic place promises great announcements and lots of people.
Until now, the company has always chosen large metropolises such as Barcelona, New York or London for its Galaxy Unpacked. The choice of Seoul is rational, because the South Korean capital plays a big “role in influencing fashions with its dynamic culture and innovation, which reflects Samsung’s great confidence in its folding smartphones”. It is therefore up to the manufacturer to strike a blow at the end of July and prove its hegemony in the segment since 2019.
The company has not revealed the content of its conference, or even the products that will be presented, but it is difficult not to see the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 emerging.
