Samsung is renewing its entry-level offer with its A and M ranges. The Galaxy M23 5G is now available in Germany, and two other models will follow very soon. The opportunity to get an idea of these devices that will soon arrive with us.
Samsung, definitely in great shape on the mid-range mobile market, has just formalized a wave of Galaxy A. And the South Korean has every intention of offering more handsets that are even more affordable in Europe. The firm has just released the Galaxy M23 from our German neighbors, while the M33 will be available from April 8. This allows us to get an idea of their technical specifications and their price before their arrival in France.
As a reminder, we know that the Galaxy M23 and M33 are 5G devices that have a 6.6-inch TFT panel displaying in Full HD + (1080 x 2408 pixels). If the SoC has not yet been specified, we know that it is an octa-core (most likely an Exynos 1200) coupled with 4 GB of RAM for the M23 and 6 GB of RAM for the M33. They both have 128GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via MicroSD. A fingerprint reader is located on their edge.
The Galaxy M23 has a triple photo module consisting of a 50 megapixel wide angle, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. For its part, the M33 opts for a quadruple module also equipped with a wide-angle of 50 megapixels. It is, however, accompanied by a 5-megapixel UGA, and two macro and depth modules of 2 megapixels each. An 8-megapixel sensor sits on the front, in the Infinity V notch for both models.
Autonomy is ensured by a 5000 mAh battery on the M23 and 6000 mAh on the M33. The first is compatible with recharging at 15 W, while its big brother can be recharged at 25 W. The charging block will no longer be provided in the box.
The Galaxy M23 is available for €289 in Germany in light blue, dark green and orange colors.
The Galaxy M33 will cost €349 and will be available in deep blue, khaki green and brown. However, French prices may vary slightly upon release.
A very similar Galaxy A13
The Galaxy A13 will also go on sale from tomorrow, and displays many similarities with its two congeners, although it is only compatible with 4G. It also relies on a 6.6-inch TFT LCD screen in Full HD +.
Under the hood, there is an octa-core SoC this time accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage (always expandable). The battery will also be 5000 mAh, and compatible with 25 W charging. In the photo, we are entitled to the same configuration as on the M33, arranged differently.
It will be available for €199 in black, light blue and white. A very aggressive price that could make the difference in the segment of smartphones under 200 €.
